guidelines for

oral presentations

The time slots for symposia and sessions are 80 minutes. The length of each presentation will depend on the number of contributions within the individual session. The number can vary between three and five, but it is mainly four presentations. Please note that you schedule a few minutes for discussion. This time is part of your presentation time.

Laptops are available in every room. It is not possible to use your own laptop. In order to enable a smooth session flow, it is important that each presentation is loaded on the laptop before the session starts. This should be done in the morning before the beginning of the first session (between 8:00h and 8:30h). In each room, a staff member will be present to do this and to provide support.

If participants need different equipment, please contact our staff at the registration desk timely.

poster presentations

Posters will be presented in two sessions on Wednesday and Thursday afternoon (15:25h-16:25h).

The movable walls for posters will be placed in the hall “Fabersaal” on the ground floor. Since sessions with oral presentations will be held in this hall before poster sessions, poster presenters have to fix their posters before the paper session starts (finally during lunch break). During poster presentations, conference participants can walk around, read and discuss the posters with the authors while enjoying coffee and cake that will be served in the meantime.

The walls will have the maximum size of 113 cm width and 145 cm height.

Pins will be provided to fix the posters at the walls. The posters should be removed not later than the next morning.
